AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources Places In Philadelphia Business Journal’s “South Jersey 25” Competition
Cherry Hill, NJ, June 18, 2007 – The Philadelphia Business Journal has named AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources of Camden County as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in Southern New Jersey. The top 25 companies were chosen and ranked by researchers at Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business. This award recognizes the company’s achievement in increasing their revenue by 126% between 2004 and 2006.
AmeriQuest placed 11th on the list based on its growth during the determined time frame. “This award validates the success and the demand for the AmeriQuest business model, which gives small and medium size companies in the transportation industry access to the best practices, cost savings and the latest technology available,” said Douglas Clark, AmeriQuest President and CEO.
All qualifying companies are based in one of the eight counties in South Jersey: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem. Additionally, the companies must have a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal 2006 and sales at or more than $75,000 in fiscal 2004.
"The South Jersey 25 is a great way to discover and track the progress of some of the
region's fastest growing companies," said Bernard Dagenais, editor of the Philadelphia Business Journal. "These companies have impressive stories to tell and represent an essential part of a thriving economy. They translate to jobs, dollars and are led by some of the best entrepreneurs that South Jersey has to offer."
AmeriQuest was recognized at an awards luncheon on Thursday, June 14 at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom in Collingswood, New Jersey and profiled in a Philadelphia Business Journal special supplement. Archer & Greiner, Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, and PNC Bank are co-sponsoring the program this year.
