PRESS RELEASE
AmeriQuest Named as One of South Jersey’s 25 Fastest-Growing Private Companies by the Philadelphia Business Journal
June 15, 2006, Cherry Hill, NJ — AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources is proud to announce its inclusion for the fourth year in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of South Jersey’s 25 Fastest-Growing Private Companies. For the past ten years, the “South Jersey 25” has recognized the 25 fastest-growing privately-held companies in southern New Jersey. AmeriQuest came in at number eleven on the list this year, up two spots from number thirteen the previous year. Doug Clark, President and CEO, Rich Spotts, CFO, and Kate Donahue, Director of Marketing represented AmeriQuest at the awards ceremony.
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Rowan University, a “South Jersey 25” partner, calculated growth in terms of revenue of participating companies over three years. The Center then ranked the companies according to percentage of revenue growth from the first to the third year. Of the 25 companies that made the list, AmeriQuest scored highest in terms of gross revenue.
“What I find to be the real story behind the numbers of the companies represented in this presentation is the fact that AmeriQuest comes out with the #1 ranking for the period of 2003 through 2005 for all of the following criteria: Total Annual Revenues, Annual Net Revenue Increase, and Average 3 Year Revenue per Employee. This truly speaks highly of our business model and the quality of our people who have made this all happen,” stated Rich Spotts, Chief Financial Officer for AmeriQuest when accepting the award.
The Philadelphia Business Journal honored the winners and revealed the rankings at a luncheon on Wednesday, June 13 at Pine Hill Golf Club. Guests included executives and employees from the winning companies, sponsors, and members of the South Jersey business community. The “South Jersey 25” is a product of cooperation between the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Rowan University, Archer and Greiner, PNC Bank, Vistage, and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.
